Teenagers

Teenagers,

The worst thing to be,

According to parents.

We’re just people,

Who make a few extra mistakes.

Everything you hear about us,

Is bad, including drugs and smoking.

But we’re not like that,

At least not all of us.

Our parents were like us once,

Never perfect; not always great.

Parents act like we’re the worst people,

That the world could ever have,

And they wish there was no such thing,

As little, nasty, ugly, pimply, evil

Teenagers.

We’re just people,

Nothing more,

Nothing less.

We have our own lives,

Our own personalities,

Our own style.

Parents try to keep us contained,

Keep us away from the world,

So no one knows,

They have a teenager.

A little, nasty, ugly, pimply, evil,

Teenager.

Everyone sees us from the outside,

Never looking inside to see our true selves.

Our first impression is all they see,

That we are rude, nasty and evil.

No one even tries,

To see the uniqueness of us.

We are all the same,

On the outside,

To the world.

Little, nasty, ugly, pimply, evil,

Teenagers.

We have to try,

And make our own impression on the world,

That we are more then

Rude, Nasty, and Evil.

We are unique,

We are good.

We have more then just pimples.

There is a personality behind those bumps.

Not just,

A little, nasty, ugly, pimply, evil,

Teenager

And though we will make bad choices,

And follow the wrong path,

God will forgive us,

But before we do something,

Only He will know,

That we are more then just,

Little, nasty, ugly, pimply, evil,

Teenagers.

This isn’t something that will come easily,

We have to try,

To make a difference,

While we are here.

Rebel, and fight for our rights.

Though we are young,

We can change the lives for other boys and girls,

Just like us.

We can fight,

To show our world that we are more then just,

Little, nasty, ugly, pimply, evil,

Teenagers.
